Dearborn is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dearborn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iraqi cuisine. Cozy interior. Wicker light shades and a weave wall papers. Had to order the cheese borag (4 pieces) hummus, fattoush less pita, Quzi with white rice and beans, half chicken with beans and two lemon mint drinks. $95.33 The fattoush was too light on Romaine, would have liked more green romaine lettuce in it, along with less of the bottom chunk of the romaine and less of the veggies. The veggies were Radish, cucumber and tomatoes. Itโ€™s not bad, dressing is different than expected. Their big pita bread is fresh and good, soft and billowy too. The hummus, pita and fattoush was out first. The hummus is smooth and tasty. The foul or stewed beans not too bad. Itโ€™s a tad bland and was just warm, not hot. The half chicken is dry rubbed and you can smell it, itโ€™s quite nice. The meat is tender and not dry. Tastes good with the salsa dip. The side salad is the Iraqi salad with pieces of lemon in it, rind and all. Takes some getting used to eating it. The quzi lamb meat was tender, but fatty, but not dry at all. The cheese borag is literally a mozzarella stick inside of a spring roll wrapper. Itโ€™s good. Some tomato based dip would make it better or something with it.

I loved this restaurant even before eating here just by stepping in and experiencing the beautiful interior that gives a warm and friendly vibe of rural life of a African village, with the beautiful art work, embroidery, paintings and drapes. I loved all of it, stopped here with my younger daughter when we were visiting Detroit for a piano exam for her. Have lived in Detroit and worked in Dearborn a decade back , so this visit after more than a decade was nostalgic that brought beautiful memories to life , of my work and hangout in the Dearborn area. Sadly when I lived there never ate or knew about this restaurant. This time around, did some research to find some good restaurants for Arabic / Middle Eastern food and chose to try this and believe me , that was the best choice. First time trying an Iraqi restaurant .The food was so good , very delicious and fresh. Although the service was bit delayed but worth the wait. The staff was very cordial and friendly. Ordered the Iraqi salad and the portion was so huge for the price that it was unbelievable. Salad was fresh and tangy true to the Mediterranean/ Arabic taste. Kabsa chicken with saffon rice was a delicacy in itself. Also wante

We had an outstanding dinner at Darbunah Restaurant in Dearborn. From the moment we walked in, the authentic decor and atmosphere set the perfect stage for an incredible meal. The service was top-notchโ€”attentive, welcoming, and seamless throughout the night. We started our dinner with the Fattah with Meat & Eggplant, Hummus Meat, Tabbouli, and a fresh Lemon Mint drink. Everything was delicious, but the Fattah with Eggplant and the Hummus were absolute standoutsโ€”rich, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The crispy eggplants provided great a texture for the dish. For our entrees, we ordered the Kabsa Meat and the Maqlouba. While both were fantastic, the Maqlouba was the absolute star of the show! The depth of flavor and execution were exceptional. Just a head's up for future diners: the portions here are very generous, so bring your appetite! Beautiful presentation, authentic traditional dishes, and incredible hospitality. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great experience at Darbuneh. We ordered the quzi and chicken, and both were cooked perfectly. The meat was tender, flavorful, and literally falling off the bone. The eggplant soup was absolutely delicious, the fresh baked naan was excellent, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The only thing we werenโ€™t a fan of was the labneh, and the staff removed it from our bill without us even asking. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. Considering the quality of the food, the portions, and the overall experience, the prices are excellent. You rarely find this level of quality and atmosphere for this price anywhere in Michigan, and it is easy to see why this place is rated so highly. Well done, Iraq! We will definitely be back soon.

Just had a perfect dinner here! Everything was so tasty, well cooked and seasoned. Plus they came in a very big/generous amount. The service and vibe was great. I enjoyed the native songs played here (online playlist). When we were about to get out, they also started live music - was a lovely experience. Highly recommended!
